How We Calculate Fees
Each platform has different fee structures. Here's a quick overview:
eBay
13.35% final value fee (varies by category) + $0.40 per order. International sales have additional fees.
Etsy
$0.20 listing fee + 6.5% transaction fee + 3% + $0.25 payment processing. Offsite ads can add 12-15%.
Poshmark
Flat $2.95 for sales under $15, or 20% commission for $15+. Shipping is prepaid by buyers.
Mercari
10% selling fee + 2.9% + $0.50 payment processing on the total sale amount.
Depop
10% transaction fee + 3.3% + $0.45 payment processing on the total sale.
FB Marketplace
5% selling fee (minimum $0.40) on shipped orders. Local pickup with cash has no fees.
